GEKAS SA is a family company that designs, manufactures, imports and distributes lighting products, lamps and electrical equipment since 1945.
The company has established exclusive cooperations with European and qualified Asian manufacturers in order to be able to offer wide range of products at the best possible price-quality value.
Main customers are Lighting and Electrical companies while the distribution channels cover the following countries Greece, Cyprus, Albania, Romania and North Macedonia. Supplementary to the above, the company owns two retail and lighting design departments in Ioannina and Tirana.
Customer centric approach combined with continuous technological innovation has led the company in a stable evolution through 3 generations.
Quick response in costumer service, flexibility and professional consistency, are for many years the competative advantage of GEKAS SA.
The company emphasizes in designing and producing its own series of Architectural and Professional lighting products.
The main goal of those products is to become tools in the hand of every potential lighting designer. At the same time, it is important to help partners in order to specify unique products.

All our products are endorsed with European certification marks such as CE,TUV, INTERTEK, MIRTEC and we provide guarantee periods of 2 up to 5 years. Furthermore the high quality of our services and production skills is certified with ISO 9001:2015 by TÜV HELLAS.
Throughout the manufacturing process, our company uses the strictest quality parameters to ensure that our products are designed and produced to exceed customer requirements. Each step in the production process has a routine quality process, covering both product quality control and functional testing. Therefore, every product that leaves Gekas SA has been thoroughly checked and tested, resulting in maximum performance and function.
All our luminaires are manufactured and tested according to the general European Union standard for luminaires EN-60598 and CE marked on their bodies and packaging boxes. Throughout the entire production process, our technical team aims to develop high quality luminaires that combine high performance rates, energy saving and long life standards.
That’s why we only work with industry leaders in the supply of raw materials and lighting accessories.
GEKAS SA is fully supporting the recycling of bulbs and luminaires by introducing dedicated bins throughout all the premises of the company. Furthermore we are members of the Greek recycling company FOTOKIKLOSI SA
Training & Technology
Our focus on research and development keeps as on the forefront of available technologies and benefits any existing customer.
We visit all major lighting and electrical fairs around the world, such as Light and Building-Germany, Euroluce-Italy, Lighting Fair –China.
Additionally, we organize and attend many conferences and seminars of universities and lighting societies around the world.
