The device is designed to continuously monitor the concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) and to issue a warning when the safe limit of >25 ppm is exceeded.The display shows the measured concentration from 0 to 999 ppm.It features both visual and audible alarms with a sound level of 85 dB.Powered by a removable alkaline battery, 1×9 V type 6LR61.The device includes a test button and a low battery warning indicator.It also features a mute button and a memory function.Power consumption is 17 µA in standby mode and 55 mA in alarm mode.Operating temperature range: –10 °C to +40 °C.Recommended operating humidity: 0–95% RH.The detector has a service life of 7 years. After this period, replacement is required, and the device provides a dedicated end-of-life warning.The device complies with EN 50291-1:2018.Installation instructions:Install the device at a horizontal distance of 1 to 3 m from any fuel-burning appliance (oil boiler, natural gas boiler, wood-burning stove, pellet stove, fireplace, LPG gas cooker, diesel/gasoline generators).The maximum coverage distance of the detector is 10 m.
