The device provides early warning in the event of an LPG (propane–butane) gas leak.Activation occurs when the concentration of propane or butane exceeds 8% of the Lower Explosive Limit (L.E.L.).Installation must be carried out at a height of 15–30 cm above floor level, as LPG is heavier than air and tends to accumulate near the ground.Install the device at a horizontal distance of 0.5 to 8 m from any LPG-powered appliance (cooker, heater, boiler, water heater, generator, gas cylinder).It features visual and audible alarm indication at 70db/1m while the response time is ≤30 seconds.The device requires connection via a 1.6 m power cable to 230 V AC.It includes a test button and a normal operation indicator.There is the option to connect the device to external equipment such as a solenoid valve or relay. In this case, when the alarm is activated, an immediate command is issued to shut off the LPG supply or activate room ventilation.Power consumption is 8 mA in standby mode and 9 mA in alarm mode.Operating temperature range: –10 °C to +55 °C.The detector lifetime is 7 years.The device complies with EN 50194-1:2009 standards.
