The device provides early warning in the event of a natural gas (methane) leak.Activation occurs when the methane concentration exceeds 8% of the Lower Explosive Limit (L.E.L.).Installation must be carried out at a height of 15–30 cm below the ceiling, as natural gas is lighter than air and tends to accumulate at higher levels.Install the device at a horizontal distance of 0.5 to 8 m from any natural-gas-powered appliance (cooker, boiler, water heater, gas piping networks).It features visual and audible alarm indication at 70 dB (at 1 m), with a response time ≤ 30 seconds.The device requires connection via a 1.6 m power cable to a 230 V AC supply.It includes a test button and a normal operation indicator.The device can be connected to external equipment such as a solenoid valve or relay. In this case, upon alarm activation, an immediate command is issued to shut off the natural gas supply or activate room ventilation.Power consumption is 8 mA in standby mode and 9 mA in alarm mode.Operating temperature range: –10 °C to +55 °C.The detector service life is 7 years.The device complies with EN 50194-1:2009 standards.
